The design may or may not have a copyright mark. However, almost all of them are signed by the artist. It is so easy to do it on fine art.

What about the digital project? Can we sign our own design? Yes we can. This Photoshop tutorial will discuss .it. It is not like you sign the digital project after they are printed, but you can create a digital signature using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Creating a large custom signature brush and then save it to your own brushes palette. After finishing that, then you can simply apply your signature digitally to all of your designs. You just need to follow this Photoshop CS3 tutorial.

If you want to change the size of the brush, you can simply change the diameter slider that you can find in the brush option. Sign the design with a color by selecting the color as the foreground color can be a good idea.

However, you should sign the project on a separate layer to preserve the layer transparency. Adding layer styles and changing the color of signature or even creating a blind embossed signature effect can be done easily using Adobe Photoshop CS3. It is quite difficult to create the signature brush using a mouse. Using the wacom pen tablet can be a good alternative. Here is the Photoshop CS3 tutorial to sign your digital work.

1.Click file – new. The new dialog box will appear.

2.Type the size and the width with 2800.

3.Click in the field of resolution. Fill 360 and make sure the background is on default mode, white. Click OK.

4.After the new blank document appears, you have to click the brush tool.

5.Select a hard-edged brush.

6.Adjust the brush diameter into 35 to 40 pixels by click and drag the diameter slider.

7.Click in the blank layer. After that, sign your name. Your signature will appear on the white image.

8.Click the rectangular marquee tool.

9.Click and drag around your signature.

10.Click edit – define brush preset. The brush name dialog will appear.

11.Type the name of your signature. Click OK. Your sign is ready to be applied to all of your projects.

12.For example, open another image that you want to be added with your signature.

13.Add layer – click brush tool. Select your signature brush.

14.Click and drag the diameter slider if you want to adjust the size of your signature to fit with your project.
