Change The Perspective Of Your Photo
Many times, you may photograph an object from an angle and not from a straight on view. With that technique, you will produce the object that appears out of perspective and may display keystone distortion. Imagine if you photograph a window and you cannot get directly in front of it to take the shot. It is a certainty the window will appear trapezoid. However, there is no need to worry about the perspective problem. You can reduce the distortion using the correct Photoshop tools.
One of the Photoshop CS3 tools that make you able to change the perspective of your photo is the crop tool. You can transform the perspective of your photo and adjust the keystone quickly. However, your photo must have an object which is rectangular in the original scene. Maybe you think that it is way too hard for you. However, with this Photoshop CS3 tutorial, you will be able to change your perspective with the crop tool.
At first, you need to marquee to match the rectangular object’s edges. After that, you need to marquee to fit your photo. The Photoshop will crop the photo as large as possible and maintain the angle of the rectangular object at the same time if you are clicking the commit button. For the detailed steps, please follow this Photoshop CS3 tutorial.
1. Click the crop tool for the photo that contains a distorted rectangular object.
2. Click clear in the options bar to remove any previous settings.
3. Click and drag a cropping marquee in the photo. For your note, the selected area is light while the dimmed one is the area that you want to crop away.
4. Deselect shield to remove the dimming effect.
5. Click every corner anchor in the cropping marquee and align it with a corner on the normal rectangular object. For your note, you can press click Ctrl + spacebar to zoom in with the crop marquee showing and click the photo. Then press Alt + spacebar to zoom out.
6. Click and drag out every centre anchor points to fit the edges of the entire photo.
7. If you are satisfied with the crop, you can simply click the commit button in the options bar to commit the crop.
8. Photoshop already manipulated the photo and changed its perspective.
It is quite easy to change the perspective of your photo. As long as you follow this Photoshop CS3 tutorial, changing the perspective of the photo is so easy.
