3D image effect

This Photoshop tutorial will discuss the ability of Adobe Photoshop CS3 to do the 3D image editing. With this Photoshop CS3 tutorial, you will be able to make every image into a 3D works. Here is an example.

1. Open one of your images that you want to turn into a 3D image.

2. Transform that image using perspective.

3. Transform the height into 70%.

4. Duplicate the layer.

5. Then, this step is the most important step in this Photoshop CS3 tutorial. Change the gradient overlay into these settings: blend mode: normal ; opacity: 100% ; gradient : pick your own ; style: linear, align with layer ; angle: 90 ; scale: 100%

6. Change the stroke structure with 3 pixels size, inside position, normal blend mode.

7. Change the outer glow structure for more Photoshop 3D effect.

8. Give glossy effect with select – modify – contract. Gives 2 pixels is quite good.
